Vinyl, contract floors and carpet tiles

A bathroom floor in a home, and two commercial jobs. The two commercial jobs are separate projects, and they are shown separately below.

In a home

A bathroom in geometric vinyl

Geometric patterned vinyl fitted in a bathroom, cut around the shower tray and sanitaryware
A cube pattern that reads as three-dimensional, cut in around the shower tray and the sanitaryware. On a small floor with a bold pattern, the edges are where the work shows.

A commercial project

A commercial vinyl floor

Two tones of vinyl across an open room, meeting along a single straight line. The photographs show it finished. The film below shows part of it going down.

The join itself: a single straight cut between the two tones.
Part of this vinyl installation: latex preparation, adhesive, setting out, and roughly half the room laid. Silent, 29 seconds.

The film is a section of the work rather than the whole job. It runs from the latex preparation through the adhesive and the lines being set out, and ends with the room about half laid. The photographs above show it finished.

A separate commercial project

A commercial carpet-tile floor

A different job from the vinyl above. Carpet tiles laid wall to wall, alternating light and dark.

During installation: a subfloor marked out with snapped lines, a run of carpet tiles laid out across it and a stack waiting alongside
Mid-installation, with the setting-out lines snapped on the subfloor and the next tiles stacked ready.
